CityCenter Las Vegas:

A Mixed-Use Urban Development on The Strip

CityCenter is a 16.797 million square foot (1.560 million m²) mixed-use, urban complex on 76 acres (31 ha) located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Opened in December 2009, it is a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Infinity World Development, a subsidiary of Dubai World.

Components

CityCenter consists of several different components, each with a unique role:

  • Aria Resort & Casino: This is a luxury resort and casino that features a full-service spa, several restaurants, and a technologically advanced convention center. It also has a 150,000 sq ft (14,000 m²) casino and is home to the Cirque du Soleil production “Zarkana.”
  • Vdara Hotel & Spa: This is a condo-hotel and spa that provides a more intimate experience than some of the larger hotels and casinos. It is a non-gaming and smoke-free environment, making it popular among families and those preferring a more relaxed atmosphere.
  • Crystals: This is a high-end shopping mall offering some of the most prestigious retailers in the world. It features luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Prada, among others.
  • Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas: Now rebranded as the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, this is a 47-story non-gaming hotel and residences.
  • Veer Towers: These are twin 37-story condominium towers that lean in opposite directions, 5 degrees from the center.
  • The Harmon: Initially planned as a boutique hotel, construction on The Harmon was halted due to construction defects, and the unfinished building was demolished.

Location

CityCenter Las Vegas is located at 3780 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89158, in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
